The drug makers have been out right lying about the efficacy of antidepressants.They have been caught red handed.

For the majority of people, the drugs are no better then snake oil.

If the only problem was that, the drug is a placebo for the vast majority people who have been given it, I would not care.

But it is far from the only problem!

The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to antidepressants among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects: manic reaction (mania, e.g. kleptomania, pyromania, dipsomania), emotional lability (or instability), abnormal thinking, alcohol abuse, hallucinations, hostility, lack of emotion, paranoid reaction, amnesia, confusion, agitation, delirum, delusions, hysteria, psychosis, sleep disorders, abnormal dreams, and discontinuation (withdrawal) syndrome. Adverse reactions are especially likely when starting or discontinuing the drug, increasing or lowering the dose or when switching from one SSRI to another SSRI. Adverse reactions are often diagnosed as bipolar disorder when the symptoms could be entirely iatrogenic (treatment induced). Withdrawal, especially abrupt withdrawal, from any of these medications can also cause severe neuropsychiatric and physical symptoms. It is important to withdraw extremely slowly from these drugs, usually over a period of a year or more, under the supervision of a qualified and experienced specialist.

In addition to the adverse reactions listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference, the FDA published a Public Health Advisory on March 22, 2004 which states (in part): "Anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants for major depressive disorder as well as for other indications, both psychiatric and nonpsychiatric."

The vast majority of school and other recent massacres have involved people going on or coming off these drugs.

Many otherwise loving parents have killed their own children wile going on or coming off these drugs.

This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true. Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. (John 21:24-25, ESV).

Worship is the recognition of who God is, and of who you are in relation to him. It is your response to God's holiness, power, and grace. The greatest kings and leaders fall on their faces before the mighty Lord. Indeed, worship is the foundation and goal of effective leadership.

Revelation 4:9-11 Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one who lives forever and ever. And they lay their crowns before the throne and say, "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. Your worship of God is a foretaste of heaven.

John 4:24 God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. Worship is not confined to formal places and times. The only thing that is required is that you worship God in spirit (through authentic faith inspired by the Holy Spirit) and in truth (according to God's true person and nature). You can do that anytime and anywhere.

Egotism.

If you tell this to anyone they will immediately say, 'What a piece of nonsense! If you don't praise your child he won't be able to do his schoolwork or anything...' But that happens because that's what we're like, and we have made our children the same. In other words, we have strayed from the truth. Egotism evicted man from Paradise; it is a great evil. Adam and Eve were simple and humble; that's why they lived in Paradise. They didn't have egotism. They did, however, have the 'primal nature,' as we call it in theological language. When we say 'primal nature' we mean the gifts of grace that God bestowed on man in the beginning when He created him, namely, life, immortality, consciousness, freedom of will, love, humility, etc. Through flattery, however, the devil managed to delude them. They became filled with egotism. The natural state of man as created by God, however, is humility. Egotism, on the contrary, is something unnatural, an illness and contrary to nature.

When we, with our laudations, create this 'superego' in the child, we inflate its egotism and we do it great harm. We make the child more susceptible to demonic influence. And so, as we bring it up, we steadily distance it from the values of life. Don't you believe that this is the reason why children go astray and people rebel? It is the egotism that their parents have implanted in them from an early age. The devil is the great egotist, the great Lucifer. In other words, we live with Lucifer inside us, with the devil. We don't live with humility. Humility is from God; it is something essential for the human soul. It is something organic. And if it is missing, it is as if the heart were missing from the human organism. The heart gives life to the body and humility gives life to the soul. With egotism a person is given over to the part of the evil spirit, that is, he develops with the evil spirit and not with the good spirit.

This is what the devil has succeeded in achieving. He has turned the earth into a labyrinth so that we are unable to come to an understanding with one another. What has happened to us without our realizing it? Do you see how we have been led astray? We have turned our world and our age into one large psychiatric hospital! And we don't understand what's gone wrong. We all ask, 'What's become of us, where are we going, why have our children taken off, why have they left their homes, why have they resigned from life, why have they given up their studies? Why is all this happening?' The devil has succeeded in concealing himself and in making people use other names. Doctors and psychologists often say when someone is tormented, 'Ah, this person has a neurosis or is suffering from anxiety.' They don't accept that the devil is inciting and arousing egotism in the person. But yet the devil exists and is the spirit of evil. If we say he doesn't exist, it is as if we are rejecting the Gospel that speaks of him. He is our enemy, our adversary in life, the contrary of Christ, which is why he is called the Anti-Christ. Christ came to earth to release us from the devil and to grant us salvation.

Here is the secret: God in His omnipotence and omniscience knows everything, including the things that will happen in the future, but He is not the cause of evil. God has foreknowledge, but He does not pre-ordain. For God there is no past, present and future. All things are naked and laid bare before Him. This is what Saint Paul says, All things are naked and laid bare before His eyes (Hebrews 4:13). In His omniscience He knows both good and evil. He cooperates with good, being, as God, good by nature and alien to evil. But since He is alien to evil, how is it possible for Him to pre-ordain us for evil? God created everything exceedingly good and gave to everything a good and holy purpose (Genesis 1:31).

Evil is a problem which our faith explains in a marvelous way which cannot be bettered. The explanation which our faith gives is as follows: Evil exists and comes from the devil. Within us we have both the evil spirit and the good spirit and they battle with each other. Either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24). That is, within us a struggle between good and evil takes place. But in this struggle a person is free to decide and choose. Consequently it is not God who pre-ordains and decides, but man's free will.

I write from South Africa concerning a very prominent prophet we have in our history. The bible says fear the man who prophecies and it comes to pass and fear not the man who prophecies and it doesn't come to pass.

Prophet Van Rensburg was born in 1864 and foretold 700 prophecies
concerning our country and abroad. They all to date have come to pass.

Amongst his last prophecies he said that when it becomes cold in South
Africa like it hasn't been for years, a national strike will take place
which will cripple the country. At this time a prominent political
figure in our country will die and he will be placed in a glass coffin
so people will mourn for him 7 days. He says the strike will not cease
and lead to civil war and when this politician dies the black people in
our country will within an hour of his death barricade the main cities
and slaughter all the white people. He says at this time Europe will
start to boil and WW3 will come on the heels of these events. He says
only the true Afrikaner will survive as moments before they will be
supernaturally taken to a place of safety. He believed the Afrikaner
were God's chosen people of South Africa. After this destruction and
death like the world has never seen will follow,

states when Nelson Mandela dies they will put him in a glass coffin at
the Union Buildings Pretoria as befitting a world known statesman.

We are currently in the midst of the coldest winter in many years with
56 all time new weather records for our country. On Monday 2nd June the entire public sector goes on strike. This will cripple our country. We
are talking about 4 million+ not working.

It seems that the prophet's words are coming true and that God appointed someone in our country to give us a warning. A friend of mine got an email last week saying that people must fast and pray because in the next 5 days as angels are going to appear to people everywhere.

Are we on the brink of the great tribulation/rapture? Everyone has been
saying this is the year of the rapture, perhaps that time is now.

All I know is this week coming seems to be one that will bring a lot of
change, if we are to believe a man of God who could only read the bible
who predicted 700 prophecies and they all came to pass.

I'm not a Jew so I can't look for a Jewish sign (The borders of Israel
being surrounded), I am South African and I can only look to the signs
given us by a God-fearing man, as to the times and seasons we are living
in.

There are members who are involved with NATO and hold important positions in the US administration, etc. They hold an extremely harsh stance against the East, especially with Russia because of its Christian Orthodox heritage. An enemy going back thousands of years is head quartered in China (the Himalayas/Tibet). Grey Wolves (Turkish Muslims), are connected to the White Brotherhood. Only Grey Wolves members may rule Turkey. Hunger, for eg., Russia was the world's wheat provider, even the U.S.A relied on her. The White Brotherhood ensured that Russia would starve. In Moscow young women give themselves for a plate of food. Homosexuality, the U.S.A being its banner. One can go on and on, but there will be no end then. It is devastating. But do not despair, if you are a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ because He has defeated Satan and the world.

This verse from Proverbs tells us those who try to trap or destroy
others will find their own devices will trap and destroy them. This
is based on the spiritual law of sowing and reaping.

Galatians 6 :7-8

7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.
8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap
life everlasting.
The Bible teaches that we reap the kind of seed that we sow in the
ground. In the natural, if we plant a tomato seed and water it, it
will produce a tomato plant. Whatever kind of seed we sow, it will
always produce that kind of fruit. If we plant a cucumber, we will
not get a watermelon. Watermelon seeds produce watermelons. Good seed
sown produces good fruit, weed seeds will produce weeds with thorns
and thistles. This particular principal runs throughout the entire
Bible, starting in Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Everything
will produce fruit after its kind
Genesis 1:11

11) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding
seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is
in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (KJV)

In the beginning, everything God created for man was blessed and was
good. However, when Adam and Eve sinned, the earth came under a
curse, and now the ground would also produce things that brought pain
to mankind.
Genesis 3:17-18

17) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice
of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee,
saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field. (KJV)

Now man was responsible for dealing with the things that were cursed,
and planting the things that would bring blessing. This law is still
working in the earth today in the natural, as well as the spirit. We
now have been given a choice as to which law we will choose -- the
law of life in Christ, or the law of sin and death.

Prayer for the Day:

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You for the opportunity to sow good
things in the kingdom. Lord, deliver me from any fear that would keep
me from turning loose of things I need to sow into Your work. Grant
me the grace to give freely of all You have given me, knowing that I
will reap in likes kind. If I need finances, may I obediently give
support into Your works. If I need encouragement, may I take the
time to sow it into the lives of those around me. May I be known, as
You were known -- a person who went about doing good. Cleanse my
thoughts, so that I will not even sow a bad thought in my mind toward
others. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peter in Heaven and Judas in Hell

"(Both Peter and Judas committed the same sin. They both denied their Lord and Master.

But why did one go to heaven, and one go to hell?

The Gospel writer Matthew is careful to compare and contrast the fall of Peter and Judas. Both men failed badly. The fall of Peter was temporary, while the fall of Judas was permanent. One is in heaven, and the other is in hell.

Both men confessed their sin and failure, but only one repented and put his faith in Christ.

Somewhere in Judas’ life, he took an evil turn that eventually resulted in rejection of Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior and eventual suicide. One bad attitude toward Jesus led to another, and a pattern of rejection and bitterness must have led to the ultimate rejection of Jesus.

In fact, it was prophesied in the Old Testament that a person close to Jesus would lift up his heel against Him (Psa. 41:9; Jn. 13:18; Acts 1:16). He was appointed to this end from the beginning (Jn. 17:12).

After Judas sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver, the price of a common slave (Zech. 11:12; Matt. 26:14-16), he purchased a field with the money (Acts 1:18-19). When the “good opportunity” came, he acted on his evil intent and delivered Jesus to the Jewish authorities in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matt. 26:46-50). After it happened he felt a sense of remorse realizing what he had done, and declared to the religious leaders that Jesus was innocent (27:1-5). Judas tried to atone for his own sins and failed. Then he went to the field and hanged himself.

Judas betrayed Jesus because he did not love Him. He only cared about himself and his personal agendas (John 12:6).

Judas confessed his sin without repentance. There was no radical change in his mind that resulted in a change from spiritual death to spiritual life through faith in Jesus Christ. True repentance would have turned him to Jesus for forgiveness.

On the other hand, there is Peter who had also been with Jesus, and likewise fell. We will too if we do not learn his lesson in Luke 22:31-32. “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”

Peter loved the Lord Jesus. He tried to defend Jesus in the garden when the soldiers arrived (Matt. 26:50-54). In fact, Peter failed because he was in a situation that he would not have been in if he had not loved Jesus. What happened to Peter still happens to the strongest of Christians today.

Peter did not believe Jesus’ warnings (v. 31; Zech. 13:7). “This very night you will all fall away on account of Me.” Very emphatically, over confident Peter contested, “I will never fall away” (v. 33). Jesus repeated the warnings in even stronger terms, “Truly I say to you that this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times” (v. 34). Peter got arrogant saying to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You.” All the disciples said the same thing too (v. 35).

Peter knew the same thing you and I know. “Jesus is never wrong, never confused, never mistaken.” Peter thought he knew better than Jesus! If we expect to win in the spiritual warfare we had better determine early on in the Christian life to trust Jesus in everything and not explain away His Word. Peter fell that night with the slightest provocation when a servant girl tripped him up (Matt. 26:58, 69-75).

Perhaps it would have been different if Peter had remained in the company of his compassion and Christian brother, John.

Peter responded with increasingly strong denials to the questions of bystanders in the courtyard of the high priest. His denials were even filled with cursings and oaths before it was over (Matt. 26:70-74).

At the moment, Peter denied Jesus the third time a rooster crowed, and Jesus “turned and looked straight at Peter” (Lk. 22:61). Peter realized what he had done and rushed out and wept bitterly (Matt. 26:75; Mk. 14:72; Lk. 22:62).

Peter learned the lesson that Jesus “is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them” (Heb. 7:25).

It is easy for us to point our fingers at Peter and Judas, but what about own own denials of Christ in the workplace, school, public arena, etc.? What about when he bids us come and follow Him and we halt, or go in another direction? He invites us to join Him in what He is doing but we don't step out by faith and follow.

God does not compare us to Peter or Judas, but to His Son who was obedient even unto death. We all fall short of His obedience.

There is only one person who can make atonement for our sins, and that is Jesus Christ. Only His shed blood will make atonement for our sins and free us from our guilt. There is no hope for us if the blood of Jesus Christ does not wash us of all our sins. In the death of Jesus there is salvation for all who will call upon His name. “What can wash away my sin?” Nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ.”

Judas turned his back on Jesus who was his only hope.

Peter repented and turned to Jesus and found hope.

We do well to heed the words of Peter and learn from his experience. “Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you” (2 Peter 1:12-11).

Signs of Jesus' Coming

"Non-Christians find it hard to believe we are living in the last days of earth's history. It's in the Bible, II Peter 3:3-4, TLB. "First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will come scoffers who will do every wrong they can think of, and laugh at the truth. This will be their line of argument: ‘So Jesus promised to come back, did He? Then where is He? He'll never come! Why, as far back as anyone can remember everything has remained exactly as it was since the first day of creation.'"

The coming of the Antichrist is a sign of the end. It's in the Bible, I John 2:18, TLB. "Dear children, this world's last hour has come. You have heard about the Antichrist who is coming—the one who is against Christ—and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the end of the world is near."

Did Jesus say when the end would come? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:14, NIV. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Men posing as Jesus will try to deceive people in the last days. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:23-24, NIV. "At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!' or ‘There He is!' do not believe it. For false Christ's and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible."

There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:29-30, NIV. "Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory."

What moral conditions will be characteristic of society in the last days? It's in the Bible, II Timothy 3:1-5, NIV. "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them."

An increase in knowledge and travel is a sign of the last days. It's in the Bible, Daniel 12:4, TLB. "But Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times, when travel and education shall be vastly increased!"

What other signs of the last days does the Bible mention? It's in the Bible, Luke 21:25-26, NIV. "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken."

Talk of peace and safety are a sign of the last days. It's in the Bible, I Thessalonians 5:2-3, NIV. "For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."

What are people to do when they see these things taking place? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:42-44, TLB. "So be prepared, for you don't know what day your Lord is coming. Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch for them, so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for My unannounced return."

Prayer Request

I can really use prayer right now. I was physically disabled 12 years ago. I'm currently enrolled in school and trying to transfer to a university to complete my BA in sociology. I provide early pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum education for 29 years. I am unemployed right now, working hard to self publish my books and sell my artwork online. I don't receive any state or federal aid, don't really want it. I want to be self sufficient. My rent is due and my body and emotions hurt. I'm hungry and frightened. I am seeking prayers for the stamina to continue, the courage to continue, patience to continue, and alertness to what I need to know and do. I am seeking prayers that I will be safe and housed (I really don't want to become homeless!). I seek prayers that physical pain flare ups stop (I have trauma-induced bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome, reversed lordosis of my cervical spine, 2 herniated disks in my neck, back problems, and my eyesight is 20/200). Poverty is something I need prayer for to help me overcome.
I know prayer works, I used to be paralyzed on my left side (from the accident at work 12 years ago when I was an emergency medical tech and radiology aide--I got hurt at the hospital I worked at--and, no, I didn't make any $$ from a settlement).
I thank you in advance for your help, and I thank Our Lord in advance for answered prayers.

OMG......
My fiancee got popped while driving drunk for the 5th time (only got caught for the 3rd time in his name, anyway - the liar), anyway, he's in jail - in Camden County NJ, which is bad. I live in his house - its not mine - nothing is in my name except for the bills - not the mortgage.......but I haven't enough money for the mortgage..............he'll be in jail for about a year or so...... thats a long time. I think it's time to leave him. I've given him 30 or so chances, and he keeps goin down and bringing me down with him.........I need so many prayers right now, for me and our two children, I have no idea where to start..... :`(

I don't know anymore - everytime I get comfortable things go crazy like a rollercoaster. I really have to become independent (which is what my fiancee has been trying to hinder)....... I don't have my license, he refused to get it for me, in a roundabout way, always saying theres not enough money to pay my fine of 600$ thats it! less than half of our mortgage!

but anyway, please ask the Lord to send some blessings down in Runnemede...NJ...

When you have become a Christian it's very important that you don't stay there but continue to walk with Jesus and grow in faith! The moment when you became a Christian it's just the beginning of a very exciting life! God has so much more for you. God loves you so much and He really wants the best for you. He wants to guide you and help you with every part of your life. But if you just sit there and don't try to walk on with Jesus you will never grow as a Christian. You have to walk on with Jesus if you really want your Christian life to be the ultimate life!

Goin thru it guys....went off pain meds & bipoalr meds fer a long time now, but only a few weeks off the pain mes........the pain is very bad....but the doc says I'm taking it like a trooper - my pain scale of 2, he says, is more then likely a 6 or 7 fer someone else.....these 4 herniated disks are hurtin so badddddd right now - can barely move my legs. Please someone pray fer me (I know it sounds awful selfish o'me) that God heals my back, legs, and nerves that I don't ever go back to taking meds...I'd rather have the surgery already....

Pray for all those in pain, mental, physical, & spiritual.................................

ok, i wasn't going to ask for prayers for my statistics final, but i need it, i think.
I am so burnt on math - been avoiding this class for years, but it's time to move on and i had to take it. As it is now, i'll be getting a b+ or a- but i have had a difficult time bringing myself to study for this final. its my fault, I know it, Please Ask that Our Lord will help me with the exam tomarrow morning.

A real message of truth from our Divine Creator...!

Message that is so true...
Always stick with what makes perfect sence and can be backed up with physical proof. Don't believe in anything, either know it or don't.
Beliefs are based on second hand information which forms speculation and is subject to change.
Knowledge is gained from first hand information through personal experience which is unquestioned and completly understood, undeniable proof of truth.
Don't play into any kind of religious idealistic brain washing manipulation.
Anything spiritually based that is gained second hand, is confusing and in some way or another makes a profit, isn't the truth and not the real deal.
The spirit of the soul is inlimited and free. Having a known connection with the powerful energy that created all that exists in our known physical rhelm, is personal to the individual and that connection has no boundries ,stipulations and is not set on any kind of conditional guidlines, nor are there rules and regulations that have to be followed inorder to know that powerful endless connection. The energy of the Divine is inside us all and exists in everything that exists.
Makes a lot more sence to me. My connection with God is known and unquestioned, it's a constant and infinite flow of energy completely unconditional and without fear. I trust in that which designed me for a specific purpose in this world. That guides my soul and knows the pure of my heart. For the Divine power of all knowing makes my heart beat and connects me to a beautiful view and understanding of myself.......
The love of life and power of us is knowing what is in the depths of our soul's purpose..
The trinity of true self....

PRAYER OF SALVATION

"Dear Jesus, I believe in You. I believe You are the Son of God, that You died for my sins, and that You were buried and rose again as written in the Bible. I'm sorry for the things I've done that hurt You. Forgive me for all my sins. Come into my heart, take charge of my life and make me the way You want me to be. With Your ever present help. I renounce all my sinful practices of the past. Cleanse my heart with Your precious blood. Write my name in Your "Book of Life." I confess You now as my Lord and Savior.

Prayer Request

Hello all,

My grandfather has been in the hospital for the past 5 months due to numerous surgeries involving his heart, arteries, and most recently his bowels and intestines. The doctor told me today that all we can do is "pray" because they say his bowel will either heal or die and there's nothing medically that they can do at this point. If it dies he dies. I'm encouraging him to stop eating hospital food and let me feed him organic veggies or even fresh veggie juice but I think what we really need is the power of hundreds of people conciously projecting an image of health and well being to him. If you can spare 20 seconds it would mean a ton to me if you could say this out loud.

In turn I believe that his body still has the ability to heal itself, and that we have the ability to help him. I believe he will live.

Prayer request

I would like you to pray that I can sell my Taurus by Thursday, when I pick up my new used car. I wouldn't have to keep insurance on the Taurus, or buy a temporary plate for it, which I really can't afford.
