I hate it.

I hate malls.

I hate shopping.

I hate rummaging through racks.

I hate visually scanning racks from afar to see if there's any reason to walk over to them.

I hate seeing choices that can only be classified as "trampwear" or "geezerwear."

I hate trying on clothes.

I hate, specifically, trying on pants.

I hate having to *always* bring new pants to the tailor for alterations.

I hate having a lower half requiring nearly every pair of pants to need alterations.

I hate having to walk all over a mall with a bum foot.

Did I mention that I hate malls?

I hear ya. Malls are awful. I don't like to shop, either. I never have nice clothes because a) I can't afford them & b) I don't have the patience to go look for them. Now shopping for bellydance stuff... that's a different story, somehow.

Hear, hear!!!! I hate trying to find a decent shirt! They're all made to fit your body like a second skin and I really hate that! Not to mention I have a ten year old daughter and I will NOT have her wearing things that make her look like a little whore. Drives me crazy it does! But maybe this should be a rant of its own...

Oy! I gave up that part of the girl card ages ago. Malls suck as does most off the rack clothing, both adult and child. I have done separate ranting about kids clothing too. And I hate having to alter my own clothing. I do wish I had more time so I could go back to making nearly all my own clothes to have clothes that fit.

I also hate grocery shopping but i have given up in defeat since I suppose my son cannot live on ramen and McDonald's alone...sigh

The only place I enjoy shopping at is PetsMart cuz i get to pet and love on cute furry beings.

You know, I do too. I only like shopping for books and groceries.

I also hate that just about every store that carries big-girl clothes has such a wretched offering that I usually run out, screaming "I'm FAT, not BLIND."

Oh, but that leads me to a letter I wrote...perhaps I'll post it separately...

OK... new dream (and a billion dollar idea).

I want to open up a store that sells only pants. Just bottoms. Think jeans and your basic black trouser...something *every* woman needs multiples of in her closet.

I want to stock EVERY size and shape imaginable to flatter every woman.

I want the store organized by body shape.
      * Pear shaped: Bootilicious, curvy bottoms, those with smaller waist vs. hip measurements, ranging from petite to talls
      * Straights: model-like, less-curvy shapes, with smaller waist vs. hip measurements, ranging from petite to talls
      * Averages: the middle between the above 2, ranging from petite to talls

I want a range of fabrics, from easy-care toss-in-the-wash type cottons to finer dry-clean-only wools and silks.

      I can dream, can't I?

I HATE malls too, or pretty much any place I have to weave through rude, self-centered, cooler-than-thou teenagers.

I hate bringing every single damn pair of pants to the tailor too, which I really should do - even those Old Navy "short" jeans are too long on me - but I just can't be bothered to get them hemmed, so I either cuff 'em or deal with the dreaded shredded look on the back hem. Sigh.

I have hated physically shopping for a helluva long time now...much prefer virtual, on-line shopping. Although, trying clothes on can be a bitch that way, LMFAO!!! For real, if I have to go to a mall, I head straight to the one (and only) place I have to go, get what I need and get the hell out.

Unfortunately, I have a 10 yr old girl that has discovered her love of fashion...uuuuuugh!!

Oh I know that one all too well! When she's in the mood at any rate.

I've decided that clothes shopping really sucks these days! I Hate the second skin look and the they don't seem to make clothes to fit a body any more.

I can deal much better with grocery shopping. At least there I know what I want and what I need!

Damn I better hand in my card too, 'cause OY do I hate the Maul. .and the shopping for clothes that will never fit..and the geezerwear mom jeans of hell..and looking longingly at the cute clothes that strangely appear to only come in sizes that just might fit ONE of my boobs, or maybe one leg.

So yeah, I doth hate the Maul, I have counted the ways, and there are many many more than I have listed.

And whoever said "I'm FAT, not BLIND"...AMEN!!!!

I can never find pants that fit, except if I shop in men's clothing. I've got that weird combo of wide waist and narrow hips. Unfortunately, men's pants are designed for people who also have penises to carry around (I just keep mine in a jar ;)

I would totally shop at your store.

Oh, and I am also a mom who refuses to dress her nine year old like a college student. No low cut shirts, mini skirts (unless she's wearing leggings), pants with things written on the behind, pictures of cherries on things, suggestive slogans, belly shirts, etc. Luckily my kids don't give me a hard time about that rule. Surprisingly enough, my mother wonders why I don't encourage my 15 year old to dress more Brittaney Spears. I like her punk/goth look. It gives the distinct message of "you touch me and I'll kick you in the hooha".
