I just found out last night that we've been eating wild catnip all along, when my hubby thought it was wild mint (catnip is part of the mint family and is edable, but still...) NOW I know why the cats were going nuts everytime he brought some inside after one of his walks. We have a huge clump of it growing by a garden wall in our yard. He finally figured it out after a friend gave him some fresh from his garden to bring home to our cats. It explains why our one cat has always run over to that spot in our garden when he escapes, and rolls all over it.

Hust call me "catnip breath" from here on out... well, I can use it to explain away some of my strange behavior over the years, right?... ;-P

Sooo, we got a hunk of it and drove our cats nuts last night.

Ahh well, it's humbling and kind of fun to laugh at ourselves once again.
