I got in to work about 5 minutes ago to see our GM and Hotel Director leaving. These two were my bosses for 11 years and I adore both of them. They were fired.

I once had a foreman that wanted me to come to work for him, but I had worked for the company before, and didn't like them. He talked me into it, telling me I would be his right hand man, practically running the job for him. Everything's going good, until I see him walk off the job. He quit! Leaving me in a company where I didn't like anyone. I quit a couple of weeks later. Good luck with your new bosses. -

It means you don't have a leg to stand on and they basically can fire you for just about anything as long as it doesn't have anything to do with Race, Religion, Gender or Age. And even then I think there's a blurry line. -

Thu, May 8, 2008 - 11:27 AMOn the fun side of this shitty place, is that it has been two days since they fired my boys, and the implosion has already begun...rebellion is fomenting in every department they ran, which was roughly half the company, and we have all more or less agreed to passive agressively watch this place go belly up...entertaining in a detached, "hmmm...time to find a new job..." sort of way.
