Re: Freelance or Full time?
Wed, August 8, 2007 - 7:14 AMFreelance out of my house for almost 5 years now. I work about 25 hours a week. I work with my husband, though we have separate offices.
My worry is whether I could ever work on someone else's schedule ever again. I spent too many days with little to do trapped in an office. Now if it is slow I go mow the lawn (hey its 3 acres, it takes a while), or go do something I want, or work on a quilt.
Without technology and the ability to freelance from afar, my life would be completely different. -

Re: Freelance or Full time?
Thu, August 9, 2007 - 7:51 AMI have been freelancing by working on-site.
I came to realize that I dont function well working at home, I like getting up and going to work, and getting it done, and having the client be there so that things can get done faster.
I dont like having to find work, I was never good at that.
And I dont like not working for long periods of time. I didnt work for two months, and started to seriously re-think freelancing.
