Hey Everybody…'.

This Saturday, October 1st, The Groove Garden is mega-pleased to greet your arrival with a carpet of maaasively grooved-up rhythms and riddims as Australia’s Ganga Giri returns for a final Marin beat boot camp before returning to Oz.

Anyone who caught his two shows at Earthdance was wowed by the sheer joy and energy this passionate collection of musicians brings to the stage and dance floor. Didgeridoos pouring sonic booms into the audience, a torrent of bumping African percussion, keys and synths punctuating pulsing riffs and laptops churning out deep, solid dance grooves

So all you beat-huffers out there looking for a suuuuure fix, we have it and its good, clean, legal fun on springy wooden floors, in a “ tooooood-free ” environment.

Also main room is DJ Dragonfly – opening and closing tonight’s gathering with heaps of new fantastic tunes handed over by local producers/DJs such as Rara Avis, Brian (Moontribe), Janaka (Dhamaal) Lorin, Interchill pre-releases, Random Rab, Kraddy, Jef Stott (Lumin)…'.that’s the beauty of where we live: Bay Area backyard beats bloomin’ in the Garden…'in all their varietals, tempos textures and styles!

And the line up continues with two very special DJs in the chillspace, Naasko (Interchill Records) and Ron Tofanelli (Sound Spaces)

Hailing from Canada, Naasko’s sets leave listeners feeling as if they’ve eavesdropped on a rhythm savant whose poetic soliloquies and blissful lullabies speak of the non-distinction between matter and spirit and sound and silence. Also working the nightshift is Ron Tofanelli, guardian of chill, who holds the key to the arcane, spinning sound portals of sacred voices and flowing beats that emote distant lands - and of cultures lost and found.

Lydia’s Lovin Foods is on hand to keep you fueled for the dance floor, Hanna is back offering massage for the weary masses…'.

come on out and dance, you may even see the fey......
