First of all, I've experienced the most pain relief from an acupuncturist, Teresa Wilkinson, at Tulsa's "The Path" (494-0082). Teresa was a RN who became paralyzed when she was in her twenties. Acupuncture enable her to overcome severe odds, and she is a dynamic and lifelong student of acupuncture and alternative healing. She has encouraged me to use yoga to keep my body from getting so tight and locked up. This has worked especially well when I followup an aerobic workout (treadmill, elipitcal, walking) with yoga.
What I've found is that on the days that I don't work out, my pain levels are much higher and I don't sleep as well. I've also used some supplements that seem to help--a healthier choice than using the CoTylenol that my family practice doctor prescribed.
What's working for me may not universally work for everyone else, but every little bit helps!

I'm currently on a strict Ayervedic ( Indian ) regiment, including yoga and the pranayama, herbals etc... I totally agree that it rocks in helping so long as i don't push myself ( some of those asans are scary j/k lol ) however do you have any recommendations when picking a practitioner for acupuncture?
