From the website:
"As traditional sources of funding for working artists have diminished significantly in recent years, artist residency programs have played a vital role in offering support once made available by foundations and government agencies. Hall Farm Center grants residency fellowships of up to one month to emerging and established artists working in a variety of media, providing them with the time and space to explore their craft and create new work in the quiet refuge of our 221-acre retreat in southern Vermont. Artists in residence are provided with private housing, studio space, meals and uninterrupted time in which to pursue their creative endeavors. Sensitive to the struggle to balance financial stability with time spent on creative work, Hall Farm awards residencies at no cost to artists."
