Mon, November 12, 2007 - 8:56 PMOh yes, the costume was made by yours truely:) and it is raw silk, coque feathers, antique lace, you name it! I gotta put it on the costume! I have made costumes for Hot Pink Feathers samba troupe in San Francisco and have been influenced by the beautiful Brazillian carnaval costumes as well as the dance;)

Seeing as my bf is an emcee for a burlesque show, I definitely know the difference between the two... but I think everything's already been said over there!
