Fire Lillys is starting classes again

Here goes the details....

When? Tues nites 6/17-7/29 6:40-7:50pm

Where? Sebastopol Center for the arts, 6780 Depot St in Sebastopol (right off hwy 116 north across from screamin' mimi's ice cream).

What to bring? You :) and comfortable clothing that you can move in. Yoga pants and a tank top seem to work great :) Bring a belt or hip scarf if you would like to ;.D

Class Description: We learn a choreography for 6 weeks that includes tribal fusion bellydance, Jazz, burlesque and cabaret.
Then we practice the choreography we learned with fire. The choreography will incorporate fire fans and fire bowls :) We will learn fire safety and how to make fire bowls. There will be bowls and fans for sale and I have props for students to use in class as well.

Johanna, Riz's fearless dancer partner has fallen victim to breast cancer

Sadly it carrys very bad news from the east.

Johanna, Riz's fearless dancer partner has fallen victim to breast cancer. This was very sudden she went into the Dr with a problem. 2 weeks later they are removing a breast.

In short shes like most of the rest of us who are professional dancers UN INSURED. I am uttlery amazed and how the East has came togehter to help her.

A Dancer is Sarasota who is a surgen and plastic surgen donated the complete operation
and even got the OR from the hospital and 1/3 of the rate.

Sadly Johanna now faces 6 months of Kemo with a price tag of about 20 grand. Our area is becoming tapped out on fundrasiers to help her..

I want to hold the Mack daddy fund rasier for her.

We are planning the "Hafla From Hell" and hoping for a raffle to match.

Please help get the word out to vendors to donate something for this raffle.

We need almost 20 grand.and any little bit at this point helps.

Aloha Fire Lillys...

I'd love to connect with other bellydancing fire tribe! I have been bellydancing for five years now, and fire for two. I have performed with fire fans, palms, poi, staff, double staves, hula hoop and wands. Played with fire wings, fingers, fire eating, dart, zip line, zip poi, clubs, and propane powered fire fingers and fans, and a fire hacky sack. I really enjoy playing with fire and bellydance... my main fire tool right now is double staves, with a strong love for fans.

How 'bout y'all??? What do you dance with on fire?

I was just wondering if it would be possible to throw together a quick burn after class on Tuesday. My father-in-law is in town, and I thought he'd be interested in seeing what we do. If possible, great...If not, oh well!

Wanna learn how to belly dance with fire? Then maybe you want to come to dance class :)
