hey new to LA

Hi im Darius and im a Poi and contact staff fire performer from Phoenix Arizona. Im moving to California in 3 months and im looking for anybody that has a fire troupe or knows any friendly local fire troupes in the LA area. Im used todo weekely meetings with fire troupes down here and trying to find something like that in Cali.

    There are quite a few. FireGroove has their moon-circles and spin jams, you can check out their website at www.firegroove.com for more details. There is also the Burn Club, www.burnclub.info/ , which is every wednesday at 8. Both have 5 dollar suggested donations for their costs.

    There is also the Zen Arts troup, and Pois in the Hood. I'm not sure when they get together. Watermelon Dan and the Flow Temple are another great crew, though I think their gathering is much less frequent and invite only. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, if you just want to jam there are almost always people down by the Santa Monica pier at old muscle beach...
