Three of our troupe members recently completed HoopGirl Teacher Training, and we are now licensed instructors serving the St. Pete, Tampa, Clearwater and Sarasota areas. Our first class series begins September 4 in St. Pete at Roberts Rec Center, which is a straight shot over the Howard Franklin Bridge, just off the 54th Ave. Exit... only about 15 min. from South Tampa. Unfortunately, we have not yet secured a venue to teach in Tampa, but as soon as we do, we'll let everyone know. It may be a couple of months, though. I also invite you to join the Hoola Monsters Tribe - you should see a link to the left of this message. I post the majority of our updates there. I bought my hoop about the same time as you. I just got out of the Hoola Monsters class. Although I'm not a teacher I would love to get together with someone that lives near me to practice sometime! I live in channeslide so I can get anywhere quick. I have a few other newbie friends in the area that may go as well. Let me know! I just joined tribe so sorry there is not profile yet - working on it. :)
