Hey there!
I'm moving back to the Sunshine State at the end of the month and was just wondering if anyone teaches classes, or has regular hoop groups where I could learn a few things. I'm pretty much self taught, just bought a hoop one day and started playing, but want to hone my skills a bit and perhaps start performing? Anyone hosting/know of anything that goes on in or near Orlando? I'm actually moving to Clermont if you know where that is, so I'm close to the Disney crowd as well. Let me know!

Wed, February 11, 2009 - 6:51 PMI teach on Wednesday and Thursday nights in St. Pete. We have another certified instructor who teaches in Tampa too. All of our info. is at hoolamonsters.com. And the Drum Circle on Treasure Island is a great place to be on Sunday evenings. That's where a lot of the local hoopers go to practice.
Oh, but I just read the rest of your post and it looks like you're in Orlando. I know there's been a lot of talk lately in this Tribe about Orlando meet ups. Check the conversation below this one :)

I think we going to start meeting again end of feb / beginning of march. We will definitely post here when we are getting together again!
