Hey, I live in Miami, which is supposed to be a cultural and happening city, but it's really not because I cannot find any hoopers here. I just started hooping in mid-to-late April (3 weeks ago?). I dabbled in a bit of yoga, but I picked up hooping when I bought a hoop for my 3 year old sister at the dollar store and decided I wanted to give it a shot. I found some helpful tutorials on youtube and then became a semidedicated hooper these past weeks.
So any hooping classes or individual Miami hoopers want to get together? Give me a reply, I'll try to check this thing if possible.

Don't know if you ever make it to Naples, but I've been trying to get Hooping going here for a little while. I just finished HoopGirl's Certified course & I'm now a certified teacher. I am still working on finding a place to teach...but if you do come over this way, give me a head's up & maybe we can hoop on the beach at sunset.
I did find it funny that I was going over your way to South beach this past March & did a massive search for hoopers only to find "nothing"...guess you're the only one...so we gotta spread the hoop love!

Also, FYI, there are only 7 certified HoopGirl Workout instructors in the state of FL. Dainelle is the only one that I know of in South Florida, aside from Leandra in Naples.
Lele - We DO need to spread the hopo love to South FL. I think we should plan an event down there at some point :)
