Does anyone know of a hoop class in Orlando? Is so please send me some details....
I have been very anxious to start and watching videos just isnt enough help, they dont answer the questions that I have....

I'm Brook. I have taught some informal classes and hosted some group hoops here in Orlando, outdoors at Lake Eola and Baldwin Parks.
I've been so lazy about getting started again, but your post has spurred me on. Please pm me so we can get into contact. If we can decide on a good date and time, I would love to host a class or info session/group hoop. -

Tue, January 27, 2009 - 7:46 PMI had been hooping at Blue Jacket Park, which is near the Baldwin Park neighborhood. It has tons of open, sunny space. I'm also open to other suggestions, if anyone has opinions about better locations.
I would LOVE to have a Group Hoop on Sunday the 8th...it would be so wonderful to hoop with you all. If you are interested in me hosting another class series, I would love to talk about it then.
Also, who has hoops? If you have some beaters you are willing to share, please bring them...I have several, but my supply is on the low side right now. I should be able to make some new ones between now and then,though...

So, I was so excited about the prospect of getting together with all of you, that I forgot I am going to be out of town that day!
My best friend is taking me (for my birthday) to see Art Garfunkel with the Jacksonville Symphony. We have had tix for months, and I just can't miss it...I'm sure you get it!
Are there any other dates between now and then that would work for any of you? I am off on Mondays, and I get off at 6 on Fridays and Saturdays...

I cannot stress the bring your hoops part enough. As I stated before my supply is very low..I seem to have given most away and/or sold or broken them during the last festival season. Good times. I think I have one for myself (and its one I don't really even like to hoop with, its too big) and two or three to share.
Anyway, I can't wait to meet, re-meet and hoop with you all. I believe that I have access to a portable CD player, so feel free to bring your favorite hoop jams. If anyone else has a better music set-up that they are willing to share, please feel free.

Fri, February 6, 2009 - 5:58 PMYes, I wanted to thank Fabian, Tammy and Zeek from tribe, and everyone else who came out tonight to brave the cold. It felt SO good to hoop with other hoopers for a change!
I do hope to get a regular thing going, probably Sunday afternoons, starting in a couple of weeks. Check this tribe for details to come.
