HoopGirl is coming to the Sunshine State!
For the first time ever, Christabel will be hosting a HoopGirl teacher training workshop on the East Coast. The 3-day event will take place June 20-22 in St. Petersburg, FL at the Roberts Recreation Center (located at 1246 50th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33703). For those unfamiliar, St. Pete is located just outside of Tampa on Florida's west coast.
I wanted to give you all a heads up, as we're planning to make this teacher training event one of the biggest and best yet! I will be posting this information on the main hula hooping tribe early next week. The registration link should be live in the next few days, so check out hoopgirl.com for more information and for registration details. And if you have any questions about where to stay during your visit to St. Pete, just let me know. I would be happy to provide you with recommendations and /or show you around while you're here :)

Tue, April 8, 2008 - 6:30 AMUpdate: It was just announced in the HoopGirl newsletter that Christabel's live trainings have been drastically cut down for 2008. By 2009, most of the HoopGirl teacher training programs will be distance learning packages. In other words, this is the first time (and quite possibly the last time) you'll have an opportunity to train with Christabel in person, on the East Coast. Hope you can make it! -
