Flamenco dance workshops are very rare. I have been studying flamenco for two years and I have never been to one or even heard of one. This workshop is in Hickory on Saturday, March 25th. In addition to teaching barefoot flamenco, which must focus on arms (brazeo) and body work, she will be integrating tribal belly dance fusion. This should be very interesting as flamenco is a gypsy dance.
The teacher is Helena Melone and she founded Firedance Studios. I am very excited to learn all that I can learn from this teacher!!!

I believe it is a *beginning Flamenco* workshop (I hope so, because I'm completely new to this ;), so you may not be interested.
