Flamenco Fusion Workshop
Workshop time:12pm-2pm

Flamenco workshop for the Bellydancer by Tammy of Flamenco Del Sol
Attire: Comfortable dance clothing,dance shoes or barefoot, gypsy skirt Description:
This workshop will address flamenco technique for belly dancers. We will explore the unique flamenco posture while studying arm, hand, torso positions, movement trajectories, as well as moods, rhythms and palmas (hand clapping) and skirt movement. The objective is to enable the student to display authentic flamenco feeling enhancing her orientale choreographies without the use of other costuming, footwear or implements, and layer another dramatic complement over her dance.
The ABC's of ATS for Fusion Dancers
Workshop time: 3pm-5pm
ABCs of ATS for Fusion Dancers! Taught by Lacey

This fun and inovative class will be bridge the gap between the improvisational art that started it all, American Tribal Style, and the expressive form it has morphed to today, Fusion. We will highlight foundational movements used in ATS but in fun and funky combos that can easily be incorportated into any choreography. Lead and Follow techniques will also be discussed so that all dancers will feel comfortable jumping up at that group improv at the end of so many fun Tribal shows. All levels, of each style are welcome and encouraged!
