Hey, is anyone planning on going down to Pembroke Pines for the Tribal Solstice workshop out of Lotus with Donna Mejia? I'm thinking about going and was wondering if anyone else was planning on it!

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 11:13 AMOMG Amazing! Her 8yo(!) daughter did an improv (!!!!!!) at the show (of her own volition, I might add) and was fabulous. I took her workshops on Sunday and boy did I get a workout. I was so naive as to question paying $60 to "stretch"; boy was I wrong! I am sore, but in a good way, today. I'm newer, but I got some great ideas and she gave us a few combos to work with. She did a lecture-type thing on Friday night that I am also glad I went to - very eye-opening. She's going to be in Atlanta in Nov if you want to catch her nearby. Otherwise, I believe that she's at Blood Moon Regale and something else.
As a person and a teacher, she was so cool - down to earth, thorough, dorky, patient, attentive, etc., etc.!
So very much worth it. I am sure that I will be blessed to learn from her in the future.
