I'm sure this has been talked about already but has anybody stayed on a no grains/no sugar diet and managed to see some improved pain levels?

Where is everyone?

I have been on this diet for almost two weeks and I think I feel a slight improvement.

I tried no sugar - it helped for a while. I am currently vegetarian which worked until the weather changed. Now I am in a terrible flare, so I can't really say any one type of diet has helped my fibro, per se. I think cutting way back on sugar and cutting out meat have helped me in other ways though - my cholesterol is lower, and so are my triglisorides. It is better for the environment too.

Thanks, Jill. I'm coming up on a month of this diet and I have noticed zip, zero, nada.

Losing some weight is always good but I'm running out of things to try.

Also, pain for me has gotten worse as I get older.
