It's been three weeks since I could work a full week (luckily, I can log in from home), so I went to my doctor to see what he could do about my nonexistent energy levels. You know, where you lay there for over an hour before you can get up to pee in the morning, then put off showering as long as possible because you just can't stand up that long. My shrink had increased my Wellbutrin, but to no effect, so my GP prescribed phentermine. It's an old school stimulant used mostly as a diet pill, but also used off-label for drowsiness and sleep disorders (ie it keeps you awake during the day so you can sleep at night). I'm on day two, and I feel pretty okay. No miracles, mind you, but I got to work today. I also don't have much interest in food, which is good because I've been too interested for a while. The downside is that it increases anxiety and can be addictive - like legal speed. So I have yet another pill with street value. Yay.

I figured I'd mention this here in case anyone else has the same energy problems, or maybe others have experiences with phentermine they'd like to share? As it's only been a few days, I'll update as I've had more time to note side effects and whatnot.
