Square Foot Garden Ready-To-Assemble

The basic ingredients for an orthodox "square foot garden" as per Mel Bartholomew. The open-bottom box is made of two 8' 2x12" pine boards, cut in half to create a bottomless box. Weed barrier (cardboard will work) underneath is optional, and "soil" shall be assembled from the adjacent inputs: one-third peat moss, one-third vermiculite and one-third mixed compost and various manures.
