    As the pagans know, but just sharing the info for some who don’t, Halloween's roots come from the pagan festival Samhain, which is seen as the time of the year when the veil between this and the other (spirit) world comes down, allowing free passage between the two. You may run into loved ones who have passed on or possibly slip into the spirit world accidentally! We will have a special altar space present for anyone to post pictures of loved ones who have passed on in order to help facilitate connection with their spirits. I recommend that you bring copied photos and not cherished originals as you may forget to take it home with you.

    It is believed that anything you lose on Samhain is lost forever (even if it is only in the spiritual realm and takes some time to come to fruition in the physical plane) so it is a good time to set your sights on the release of anything that you no longer wish to be present in your life. We will have a release vessel present for folks to write down whatever they wish to release from their lives and this will be ritually burned and released after the event on the 31st.
