I have corresponded with Peyman Nashepour, the wonderful frame and goblet drummer and
constant promoter of Persian tradiional musical traditions for 8 years now
and I was finally able to meet this dear, dear friend in Koln a couple of days ago.

He took a very long train from his home to meet me and it was just fantastic to finally get to hug
this guy. We had a long and stimulating talk about drumming and community and mathematics
and friendship and culture and my wife and my touring friends also got to meet him as well.

I felt so happy!

and tonight, I finally get to see my dear friend, David Kuckhermann again. He is driving in to Berlin
to see the 2nd Berlin Live Looping Festival that I'm playing at with 17 other live loopers from 7 different
countries.

This tour has been so magical, it's hard to express.........great concerts, great audiences, great musicians, dear friends
and beautiful, beautiful scenery.

I just wanted to share that.
