Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 1:26 AMoh and this is michaeltheassholemoderatorofbaos i'm discussing.
not our dear freebooter extraordinaire/shannon's tits admirer michael, he's cool. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 1:31 AMI had no idea these people had titles:) -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 16, 2008 - 11:50 PMWho said I admired Shannon's tits?
-
-
-
-
Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 2:09 PMYeah, we got titles and titties galore here. No surprise. Sir and Lady Freebooters is what we is. Pardon me, I have to step behind ye olde explosive shaque with grouchosuave while we plan our next boom. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 2:14 PMAh, Michael doesn't really admire my tits. I'm not sure they're his tittie type. It was Theo who composed an epic to them, but only on commission. Michael critiqued the literary form, iirc.
Kinnari, I think you should use your powers for good and tell the BAOAS Michael to quit being an ass to people online, no matter how non sociopathic he may seem offline. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 3:22 PMi'm with shannon on this. i keep being with shannon on this, that and the other.
i miss shannon :( -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 3:29 PMI miss you too!!! I was just thinking that today, that I really wanted to go out for a drink with Mammoth. But noooooooooooooo!
Stupid continent. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 5:30 AMStupid continent, indeed.
It would be great to throw a Freebooter shindig once in awhile..... but nooo. You all have to go and live 1000 miles in either direction. meh. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:07 AMAt least the midwest Freebooters are alive and well, eh, Soren? We need to draw all these folk into next year's Interfuse and corrupt them all that much more. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:15 AMi keep doing my best to be everywhere at once, but each time i'm anywhere near anyone they seem to find some reason to be elsewhere... (ie i'll be in sf on monday, and st louis the following monday and back in ny the monday after that and it seems the only freebooter i keep seeing is that damn theotch!) -

Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:28 AMWish I had a job where I could travel. Strike that. Wish I had a lottery jackpot so I could travel. My current state of employment allows me roughly 10ft of freedom around my desk. Unless I'm having to type. ugh. that's gotta change and soon. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:32 AMOh - And absolutely, Rhino!! We could have the Freebooter Theme camp. Don't know what that would mean, exactly..... but with a year to plan for it and the nature of our collective, uh, think-tank here.... SOMETHING would take shape by next May.
Frightening to think what shape it might take...lol.... but I'm down with it. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:57 AMLet's make sure that the shape is tastefully obscene, reflective of the intelligence levels here, and lit up like a Christmas tree at night, with a massive bonfire nightly and enough alcohol to sterilize Portland, Maine.
And make sure that groucho has pyrotechnics out the yin-yang, legal or no.............. -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 6:59 AMAnd a purple color scheme in honor of Shady........ -
-
Re: another michael sighting
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 7:01 AMAnd put it right next to Booty Camp so's that Kinnari can paddle/be paddled to her heart's content.
Am I missing anyone else who needs specialty accomodations? Perhaps a drum circle, Soren? We are supposed to be radically inclusive, I just don't want to include so many radicals that the spirit of the Freebooter mission is lost. -
-
Theme Camp Thread Jack
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 7:15 AMCan't answer that just yet. I'm just sitting here being overwhelmed by how perfect the ideas are already.... and that's just from one person and in less than 30 minutes!
Actually -- I'm sure that Shannon would have some sort of "assless chaps" clause in the Freebooter Theme Camp by-laws.... but I'll defer to her to elaborate on that. -
-
Re: Theme Camp Thread Jack
Sun, May 11, 2008 - 11:23 PMwho was it that saw micheal and walked up to him and said your
that asshole Michael and
then just laughed at him...
that seems the only acceptable minimal behavior when there is a sighting
no matter how well behaved he is at any moment online or off...
he has plenty of OK moments online and
I'm sure he is a major ass offline as well.
Fucker.
: ) -

Re: Theme Camp Thread Jack
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 4:56 AMsince i don't know michael -- online or off -- and was only really on BOAS intermittently and only caught the tail end of the shitstorm, i'm just thinking it would be funny to walk up to *anyone* named michael and say "you're that asshole michael" and walk off...
in fact, i think i start on my friend michael lowery right now...
<his response, "matthew, you swore!">
i could see this experiment getting mixed results... but most of them "not good."

Thu, May 15, 2008 - 12:36 AMI think a chocolate fountain is essential............
and not too inclusive!!

Chairs are good

And chairs. Comfy , leanin' back chairs are essential, especially when it comes to steriliziing Maine.
-
-
Re: Chairs are good
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 3:01 PMi fully concur: comfy chairs become crucial when consuming enough alcohol to sterilize maine. -
-
Re: Chairs are good
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 3:41 PMIt's high time that Maine got sterilized. It's been reproducing wildly all over the place. Everybody walking around in gumboots and plaid shirts, ayup. -

Re: Chairs are good
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 4:29 PMso that explains all the rain recently. -

Re: Chairs are good
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 4:36 PMProper choice of sterilization agent is essential. I nominate tequila as the sterilzation agent.... -

Re: Chairs are good
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 10:33 PMi love how this post devolved into alcohol and pyrotechnics within days of my absence.

I think a full magazine of different choices is going to be there.
At least that's what Charlene, my drug & firearms valet says.

www.thecrucible.org/fireartsfestival/
i love me some pyroart!
discovery channel was there so i guess it's going mainstream!
but still enough of a bay area outlaw presence to be so worthy of $40 on a friday night.
i got in free and worked the vip tent! fun for moi!!!! it was right next to the steampunk treehouse and the steam train engine (which the conductor delighted in making go "whoooowhoooowhooo" terribly loud right quite frequently in my ear as i was working next to it!
uber hot chicks in steampunk outfits, lace camis, patterned stockings, thighs showing.....mmmmmmmm
and free salty, sugary greasy foods for the volunteers!
but my fave was the fire tornado!
damn, that was fun! -
