If anyone is interested in organizing for Freedomcommunity, here is some important info.

The placement questionnaire for registered theme camp space for 2009
went live on February 15th.
The deadline to submit the web questionnaire, camp layout plans*, and
leave no trace plans is May 31st.
* Be sure to follow the sample and instructions here: www.burningman.com/themecam...yout.html
(We've already received layout plans that were incomplete: lacking
camp name, perimeter dimensions, etc.)
We revised the questionnaire to (hopefully) make it easier to file.

Just wanted to remind you all that if you want to be placed in the city by Burning Man / register as a theme camp or village, the deadline is May 31.

As far as I know, no one has stepped up to organize Freedomcommunity as a camp this year. If people do want FC to be a camp, the minimal thing that needs to be done soon is get the application in by May 31.
Discussion is gurgling over on the new FC forums. Join the conversation. If you want to be a camp this year, consider taking on a leadership role to get things moving. I am willing to lend what I learned last year to help people who want to get it going this year.
