    i had a free hugs epiphany this winter. i was thinking about free hugs and how hard it can be to get people together sometimes and i realized that you don't need to get people together to do free hugs. all you need is a sign and a busy sidewalk. if you want people to join you, just bring extra signs. people always want to join in.
    
    i haven't done that yet, but it's nice to know that i can.
