Hello :) I wanted to invite you to a gathering on this Sunday:
Sacred Shamanic Sunday is a way to spiritually celebrate our deep connection with the Earth. The gathering begins around 12:30-1 There is a traditional 'calling in the directions' which begins the work of centering in the experience of being human and reconnecting with the natural world. Depending on the season, the day and the many faces of mother Earth, a talk may be provided, rituals practiced and experiences offered that help us remember and re-establish our fulfilling connection with the world around us.
We are often outdoors, sometimes in the glen (which is like an outdoor cathedral) if the weather is gentle. When wind, cold and rain needs to bluster, we retreat into one of the group rooms where the heater keeps us warm.
Often, we engage in the ancient shamanic practice of 'journeying,' which allows us to find spirit helpers in animal form or teachers who want to help us. These practices are essentially very simple to learn and do. However, the information that we are given and the healings that we undergo can often be very profound.
We often voluntarily share what we have learned. It helps: learning together, growing together and witnessing and supporting each other's paths to healing. There may be some tears, there is usually a lot of laughter and we close at about 3 pm with a simple shamanic song.
The Earth is a sacred place. When we begin to really open ourselves up to her, awareness, respect, connection and compassion fall into place in their natural order. Then, what we are left with is a sense of awe and amazement for this absolute miracle into which we have been born.

150 Hubbard Gulch Road, Ben Lomond, California If you drive up hwy 9 just after Ben Lomond you will pass a Econolodge on the left, Hubbard Gulch Rd. is the next left after a small bridge If you hit Alba Rd. you have gone too far. Once you turn left on Hubbard Gulch it will be the first driveway on the right, theres a big sign.
