A cultures vision becomes a torrential river, and the present vision of our culture is a devouring flood, thrusting us towards its ultimate outcome: destruction.
A new current is stirring. A new dream. A new vision. Propelled by dreamers, philosophers and storytellers. The stories we tell are the way we spread these visions. The way we strengthen the current which may allow us to divert this driving force. By each of us raising our voice. Though our numbers may be limited. By spreading the story, shouting from the mountain tops, announcing to each we meet- impacting their vision. Making them question the perspectives which have been programmed into them from the day they were born.
THIS is how we are dangerous. Someone who is dangerous is defined as being "able or likely to do harm". We are able; even likely, to cause harm to the structure of this culture. Because WE ARE the structure. "Culture" is merely the predominating attitudes and behavior that characterize the functioning of a group. A culture is nothing more than a group of people, all behaving roughly the same way, with roughly the same outlook. We have built ourselves a prison that we cannot escape from, because it has no walls. This has been something we've struggled with for some time. HOWEVER, WE ARE THE PRISON.
To change the parameters of our prison, we must change ourselves. We must change our vision, our perspective, our dreams, our behavior. We must change our acceptance of a life which it makes no sense for us to live. The time is ripe. We can already see the changes. The universe is prepared for change. The earth is aching from our impact. NOW is when we must change, and SPREAD that change. Perhaps one day, so many will have changed their vision, we shall wake up, and look around, and the prison will have simply ceased to exist. Dreams shape the world.
