This tribe is for mothers of all stages in their journey through motherhood. This includes pregnancy, birth, and life after a birth. This tribe is devoted to women who choose unassisted childbirth (AKA: Free birth, Autonomous birth). However, those who believe in unassisted childbirth as a choice but choose to have a midwife attended homebirth (or free standing birth center birth) for their journey are welcomed here as well. Freedom of choice in pregnancy, birthing, and child rearing practices is of most importance in this tribe.

We must be respectful of each others belief systems for this to be a safe place for people to talk openly. If you do not agree with someone, then disagree with the content, but do not attack the person. Better yet, discuss what you disagree with so that clarity of the other's view is understood. Personal attacks, name calling, etc. will NOT be tolerated here! As moderator I will delete any posts I find that violates safety as well as I will boot people off if they cannot heed warnings given to them. Please have patience with me as this is the first time I have ever conducted something of this magnitude.

My vision is for this to be a safe place for those to come with their ideas that do not follow conventional thinking. Let us support one another and learn from one another.
