Asatru Artwork Archive

In order to give our website, the Temple of Our Heathen Gods a unique look, I tried to find artwork that depicts Heathen Gods and other Norse subject matter in a way we aren't used to seeing. We wanted artwork that was powerful and meaningful. After all, art is supposed to inspire.

Heathen Gods and Goddesses? Valkyries? Vikings? Longboats? Ragnarok? Yggdrasil and the Nine Worlds? Hammers, Valknots, Drinking Horns? I weeded through 1000's of web-searches on various engines for new and original heathen images. Though the old favorites are included as well. Our archive now contains 430 Images. Feel free to browse through them, download, and use them for not-for-profit purposes.

It was a labor of love. I like how you put that. The whole website is a labor of love.

So, Ludwig, do you think the Deities contact us in our dreams?
Because I dreamed of various Nordic deities, and what I did with them, but when I reported it, nobody believed me and some women got very hostile and disrespectful towards me. Odhinn, Thor, Freyr, Freya, Jesus Christ, and the Valkyries forgive them!

Hi Linda, I know you address the question directly to Ludwig, but I would like to open that up for other members to comments on. I will repost your question under its own subject heading...
