I've had this strange observation more than once. What do you think?

Re: Have you ever had to clean a mess and decided to artsy it into a half-mess clean in progress to discourage more messes?
Tue, March 20, 2007 - 9:42 PMsomewhat related:
My roommate in college once left a big mess of toothpaste and beard trimmings on the top of the toilet tank. I complained, and later when I came home he had attached a post-it note next to one glob of blue gel toothpaste crusted with hair. The note said "don't hurt me! my name is Timmy!" I fell on the floor I laughed so hard.
I was no longer upset at the mess, and "Timmy" became a beloved friend for a few weeks, and the topic of many jokes. LOL

Thu, March 22, 2007 - 11:55 PMbut Beb, you could have been stifiling your feelings. something about peoples college days getting away with it, like its a slightly drunk trouble making certainty. my post is thinking more large scale though although the bathroom is exactly where one must clean self after cleaning something........ -

Mon, March 26, 2007 - 5:04 PMYes! The top shelf of my cupboard broke, and all my best china came crashing down like an avalanche. It was quite the mosaic. I invited my mom over to have a look see. She loved it, tragic but beautiful. I left it there for a while. Sadly, it didn't discourage any future messes:( -

Wed, March 28, 2007 - 9:46 AMwe have lots of art artifacts as well as cluttered stacks of paper and books in our house, so occasionally i have turned clutter stacks into installations with a few well-placed action figures, etc.
