Hello,

I'm looking to offer a retreat for my yoga/dance fusion specialty called Shake Rattle & Pose www.8thElementYoga.com/yoga_dance/ either at the end of 2008/beginning of 2009.

I'm looking for some input from people who might be interested in such a retreat, such as whether to focus more on teacher-training or just creative movement and release.

If this sounds interesting to you, please help by filling out my survey. Thanks!

  • Hello,

I am still working on a retreat, which will most likely be next year and I'm aiming for a week long retreat, preferably in the Caribbean.

In the interim, I'm thrilled to announce an 8-hour teacher training workshop for Shake Rattle & Pose: Yoga Dance Fusion. The workshop is worth .8 ACE and 6.5 AFAA continuing ed credits and you can petition for Yoga Alliance continuing ed credits as well.

    Training is Saturday, September 13
    9 am - 6 pm
    Downtown Dance Collective
    121 West Main Street
    Missoula, Montana 59802

About the class: Yoga comes to life with this energetic fusion of flowing Hatha yoga and dance. Using moves from martial arts, belly dance, African dance, and modern dance, we dance our way into and out of yoga poses in this playful lively class. You get cardiovascular benefits plus strength and flexibility while exploring your own unique creativity.

About the workshop: Invigorate your classes with this creative fusion of yoga and dance: cardiovascular, strength and flexibility in one class. Learn moves from international dance forms to dance your way in and out of numerous yoga poses.

You can get much more information and download the registration form here: 8thelementyoga.com/yoga_dan...ining.php

Please don't hesitate to ask me lots of questions about the training.

    Cheers, Kimberlee
