hates them forever.
christ when do women start acting like friggin humans?
I's SO tired of these women acting like they are so far superior to me...yet stoop to shit levels to get their own satisfaction.
Tattling. Making sure they ask me about my "errors" loudly enough that the boss hears. Oh! Silent treatment. Being checked up on all day.
this
really
sucks.
and I want it to stop.
I think that when a job causes physical pain, but includes no physical exertion, that is a bad bad sign. I'm getting headaches now, daily. I don't get headaches, or at least it's rare.
These women are in their 40's+, what the holy hell is their problem?

Fri, September 16, 2005 - 12:22 PMthey envy your youth and your intelligence. they probably look at you and see all the potential you have that they lack and it scares them senseless. the only reason people act catty like that is when they wish they had something that you obviously have.
i hate them, too.
as far as the job driving you crazy...when i worked with a woman like that, i put up with it for a little over a year, figured out that it wasn't going to get better and decided to leave. leaving hurt me way more than it hurt her. i had to take a pay cut and i'm sure it didn't look good to the company i was with at the time. but then i had to ask myself why the hell none of my superiors had bothered to help me. i had given them plenty of documentation of the problems, problems anyone else would have been fired for, but they were too lazy and stupid to do anything about it. in the end, i had to get away from her to save my mental and my physical health (i had started to have panic attacks and was almost always sick to my stomach, i used to go into my friends enclosed/locked office and lie down on the floor during my lunch breaks). i still resent that this was the only solution for the problem, but even looking back on it now i realize that it truly was. if it isn't worth the money they are paying you and no one is going to discipline them for acting inappropriate and unprofessional, then maybe you should hightail it out of there. we all know you deserve better.
you want i should beat them up for you in the mean time? -

Re: Hate hate hate hate hate
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 12:26 PMI have to stick with it a bit longer. If I quit before the sale goes through, I stand to lose a lot of money - money I'm depending on to get me to NZ.
It's just this day-to-day bullshit that's getting me...I have this penny from NZ stuck to my monitor, a reminder.
I'm trying to build a wall...great huh? something I've been trying to undo for years, I'm not doing on purpose.
Sucks. -

Re: Hate hate hate hate hate
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 12:34 PMsome walls are necessary. you can't leave yourself open to these people. i keep trying to remind myself that i'm sticking it out here because it's the only way i can get the dispatcher job. in fact, i'm supposed to hear about that today.
if i get it, i'm putting in a full two weeks notice, but hoping they won't want to keep me.
if i don't get it, i'm seriously considering quitting straight away and go home to get seriously and irreversibly drunk. -
-
Re: Hate hate hate hate hate
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 6:13 PMi'm hoping you get it, too...

-
Re: Hate hate hate hate hate
Mon, September 19, 2005 - 6:31 PMso true.
I've decided to become a drunk. I thought if I just had a drink after work I'd relax more, but then today I caught myself clenching my teeth several times, and basically holding my body so rigid it hurt.
So...looks like I'll have to start in the morning. -
