My volunteers are very enthusiastic about the idea of marching in the parade, but their parents so far have all said "No."; 4. Which sucks; 5. I'm putting the word out to other parents, but like I said, no luck so far. <br/> <br/>I'll take as many as want to dress up like a goof ball and walk 2-3 miles for 3+ hours (that's the distance and time estimate I currently have). In brief, we'll meet (along with all other parade people) at Red Lion Senior high @ 6:00, and the parade starts at 7:00. We'll need people to pass out bookmarks &amp; such (all in neat little bags), as well as two people to carry the library's banner; and we can always switch people out from carrying that thing if they get tired. A-a-a-a-n-n-n-d-d...if anyone would like to supplement the library bits we'll be distributing, they can bring whatever additional candy they'd like to toss. You can look up classes, rituals, and meetings with different well-known Pagans on their website. www.convocation.org They have many things planned. If you are near the area, please pre-register or make plans to be there. It is TONS of fun, and the drumming circles are larger than any I have been to anywhere else. Some of the people you are likely to meet are Deborah Lipp, Christopher Penczak, A J Drew, and Michelle Belanger. There are many rituals being held, including a Gnostic Mass and a Peruvian Fire Ceremony, not to mention the Women's and Men's rituals. There are classes for both children and adults, and the hotel that this takes place at has a swimming pool if you get the chance to use it. Please look up the website. <div>The Playa del Fuego Spring 2005 ticket schedule has been approved. <br/>Mark your calendars! <br/> <br/>Ticket sales will open on February 15, 2005 at 9:00 pm Eastern Time on <br/>the web site (www.playadelfuego.org). There will be a portion of <br/>tickets set aside as "early bird" tickets and available for $40 <br/>each to people who want to guarantee landing a ticket for May. These <br/>are open to everyone. <br/> <br/>If early bird tickets sell out before you can get yours, don't <br/>despair! The remainder of the tickets will be available for sale <br/>starting on March 15, 2005 at 9:00 pm Eastern Time, and these will be <br/>even less expensive at $30 each. <br/> <br/>This batch will go until every Playa del Fuego ticket is sold or April <br/>15, 2005 when sales will close regardless of the number of tickets <br/>sold. If there are any tickets left after April 15, you will be able <br/>to buy them at the gate for $40 each. If prior years are any <br/>indication, there may not be any left, so we highly recommend advance <br/>purchases. <br/> <br/>Currently the ticket cap is set at 500, the same as Fall 2004. We <br/>will be meeting with the VNVMC in the next few weeks to see if there <br/>is any way we can increase this number. Parking and camping space is <br/>limited, which in turn limits the number of participants we can handle <br/>and still be courteous to our hosts.
