Adding a Level II for Fall!

Here's my updated fall schedule:

New 8 week sessions starting September 10th!

Bellydance Fusion
Level I

Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm

This class covers basic bellydance isolations and movement. Each class
concludes with a fusion combo combining bellydance isolations with
western dance influences.

Level II

Wednesdays 8:30-9:30pm

This class will build onto basic isolations with layering. Prior
bellydance experience highly recommended.

Cost:
Level I or Level II
prepay $85, or $95 at first class
Both classes $160

Cambrian Yoga Studio

Come get solo or troupe portraits taken at Desert Dance!

I will be a vendor at DD this year offering 30 minute individual and troupe portrait appointments! I will be located on the lower floor in my richly decorated, portable portrait studio.

Here's how it works:

Up to 2 people = $50 for a 30 minute shoot
+$5 more per each additional person over two
(A $20 non-refundable deposit will be required when you sign up for a time slot)

** Sorry! Due to time constraints, individual and troupe portraits will need to be booked as separate appointments.

What you'll receive:

5 finished images mailed to you on one CD. (A selection of finishing options will be available to choose from.)
*no restrictions on personal usage (printing, posting, portfolio)
(additional CDs are only $5.00!)

So...a troupe of 4 can have troupe photos for as low as $15/person!

I'll be at Desert Dance for the whole weekend so make a note to stop by and sign up for a photo appointment!

Basic Bellydance Isolations and Dance Fusion Choreography

July 2nd - August 27th (No class July 23rd)
Wednesdays 7:30pm-8:30pm

Series is $85 for an 8 week session if you prepay, $95 if you pay at the first class.

Cambrian Yoga
1900 Camden Ave Suite 201 (inside the real estate building)
San Jose, CA

This class will cover basic bellydance isolations and movement combined with fusion choreography.
Each week we will drill 2-3 bellydance isolations, and finish each class by working the isolations into a dance fusion combo.
The final session we will learn a short fusion choreography with bellydance movement.

Fusion Class in San Jose

I'm teaching a belly dance class in San Jose, and if you are reading this, you should come!

The class will cover basic bellydance drills for any style of dancer.
It will also include fusion movement, combos, and choreographies.
Mixed levels

My style of fusion is a random collection of inspiration derived from my wonderful teachers, past and present; Kathy Stahlman, Jill Parker, Palika, Crystal Silmi, and that cool chick I took jazz with for a month. It's a mix of bellydance with anything else I want. It'll be fun and a half!

When: Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm
Where: Cambrian Yoga
1900 Camden Ave Suite 201
San Jose, Ca

Drop-in = $12
4 classes for $40
6 classes for $50

Great class last night

The class last night was really fun...I'm sore today! I would have liked it to go a little longer because it felt like it flew by. The warm-ups were great--I was sweating from the beginning, which I love!--and the drills were challenging and fun. I hope I can make it down again sometime!
