“BELLY” is a feature documentary about the personally experience of being a bellydancer. It stars, Samira Il Naia, Amy Sigil Rachel or Unmata, and Christina and Jenna of Shimmy Shakti Studios, Delilah, Mahisha, and Jamileh and Calypso of Midnight Mirage. It was directed by a veteran belly dancer, and was produced and funded entirely by the sale of costume made bellydance costumes, and bellydance performances. It is a sweet and honest story about being a woman and covers the topic of sisterhood, body image, recovering from illness, and spirituality. And of course lots of dancing!
