You all may or may not know this about me, but my favorite live musician to bellydance to is my stepdad who plays accordion, and believe it or not, polkas are excellent for bellydance! Because . . . 1) They tend to have a tempo that is suitable to play zills with 2) They have readable phrases, so even if I've never heard this one particualar polka before I can tell when pauses and melody changes are going to happen and 3) They are nice and bouncy, so they make for good prop-on-head balancing songs, or when the prop falls off, a spin goes nicely with the polka.

And pretty much anything by CM is reeeeeeallly sexxy! But we all know that : )
