I am wondering how many of you are active in a house and how many of you have left a house.
I left the house I initiated under about 2 years ago and have been on my own.

Sun, December 30, 2007 - 5:29 PMLeft a house, godparents, and many many godsiblings......and not looking to join one any time soon! (Although I do miss attending Bembes and Xires.....) I am quite content doing my own thing and the Orixa seem to be happy with my service......so all is well!
I would be open to joining another house somewhere down the line, but it would have to be a very open, accepting, welcoming, and extremely inclusive. -

Am doing a Tambor for Obatala on the 6th here and only know one other Santero here so the dance floor will be sparse but can't wait.

I live some distance from the major orisha hot spots in the U.S., such as Miami, New York, Los Angeles and Houston, and I got tired of meeting people who were nothing but fakes, liars and crooks. However, recently I found a house that is close to me and seems to be a good fit, so I am about to present plate. We will see how things go. -
