I hear ya, Donna! and I don't wait for ANYTHING!!! I've always wanted to go to NJ for the belly dance festivals and if I sat around waiting for my troupe mates to get their sh!t together then I would never go--'cause they never go! I don't let other people get in the way of what I want to do. Yes--the more the merrier, but if you say you are going to go--and you don't--well, I'm still going and doing without YOU!! I could never get my ex-husband to go anywhere with me--like fireworks in the park for the 4th of July--so I just went by myself, and guess what?? I'd run into a bunch of friends from work, etc... and have a great time and be perfectly happy doing stuff without him (hence the ex status!). Time waits for no-one--it marches on and on and you've got to get out there to the beat of your own drummer and just DO IT!!!
