Dear Lhadon,
I'm from Brazil and I was sad when our President has simply forgotten Tibet's quest when he gave his vote in the name of Brazil to accept China as a market economy into WTO. Rhe consequences are now difficult to control, cause China is being rich day-by-day and this the language world understand. Even Dalai Lama has made some advices to tibetans to be close to chinese development, forgetting (even him) human rights. Well, for us in Brazil it seems as a lost cause, and although buddhism is very much spread now, we are not engaged in anything like Free Tibet here. Why ? I think even buddhists and teachers of buddhism here are not very interested in this question. Is it an impression or it is the peculiar behaviour we can expect from them?
