There I was, having a well earned lie in and next doors bloody dogs keep barking and yapping.
They get put out into the courtyard first thing in the morning and let back in when their owners get home late in the afternoon.
And all they do is yap, yap,.yap.....THEN that starts the other neighbourhood dogs all yapping & barking
I just want to have a peaceful lie in!!!

Re: Yapping dogs
Fri, February 8, 2008 - 5:34 PMI went to a party once and the neighbors dog set up a rukus and the people there told me he did this every time they had a party.
I went to chat with the dog and was warned he was vicious.
Ok, chain-link fence between us and I let him suffle my fingers - BANG! went the wagy part of this vicious beast.
"Can I play, too"
I climbed the fence and he was all over me with sheer gladness.
Al he wanted was to be a part of what was going on.
A border collie, white and black. y'know.
He was fenced in and. while he was well fed and groomed, he never got to play. "Come on! Let's play chase and I'll let you win once in a while!"
That's what he told me.
It broke my heart when I had to leave him. -

Fri, February 8, 2008 - 6:31 PMA Border Collie not allowed to run and play? Please, please tell me there was at least a Frisbee in sight somewhere! A smart, active breed like that doesn't get regular play is likely to use his agility to climb a clock tower with a high powered rifle. Shame on your neighbors. How sad.
