i like that.
it's kinda like we're all in training for when the shit hits the fan.
i allready could care less about:
a cold, the flu,or a fever blister that will take a whole WEEK to heal up or
stubbing my real toe. that darn pain just hurts SO bad.
that kinda stuff.

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 12:11 PMI love it when someone at work complains about their feet hurting...I just look down at my stump, look back up at them and smile. I get some great reactions that way. -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 12:13 PMYeah. One of my co-workers was just saying "I can't sit and not do anything." (It was our Admin Professional brunch) I cracked 'em all up with, "Well, used to be able to stand..." -

Wed, April 23, 2008 - 1:35 PMspeaking of feet,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it's just amazing how much you save on footwear. i have one pair of all purpose black boots. Perfect for any occasion.
no more:
casual shoes
dress shoes
running shoes
hiking boots
surfing booties
flip flops
slippers
man, i'm gonna have to do the math on that one. -

Sat, June 14, 2008 - 9:54 PMWhat is really odd is I own more shoes then any male I know and a good portion of my female friends. The cool thing now is when I do find a pair of shoes I really like i have far less guilt about buying them because they will literally last me for years. I guess I just never got out of the habit of wearing shoes for different purposes. Is it silly for a cripple to change into hiking boots when going into the woods? -

Sun, June 15, 2008 - 8:48 AMOh bah! do what makes sense to you. At least you don't have to break them in!
Or do you? You have feet, don't you? Maybe you have to inspect your feet during the break in process. Anyway, I don't see any problem with using hiking boots when you're in the woods.
