Okay, so on Rom's prompting, I've started this thread for those of us outside the US and the challenges we face in the Eye Kandy market- the pros and cons of being an 'Overseas' Distributor.

Cons first:
Postage from Mothership to here. Ye Gods that is killer...it is the only real thing that prevents me from ordering more often. I would have an entire range if postage was not so unbelievably, ridiculously high.
Time differences between here and Mothership mean customer service suffers, as emergencies generally have to be postponed for 12 hours...
Being almost the only person distributing means I have to do ALL the groundwork.
Hate trying to work out the best price because of the dollar fluctuations to make sure I'm at or above MSRP....

Pros:
Being pretty much the only distributor in the country means more customers for me, and more vending opportunities (once I move east it will be even better)
I like being a pioneer here, and I love the reactions of people who have never seen EK before and they see it and freak out at its awesomeness!
