Webstream: Living Utopia (you wanted examples?)
"...Cool. Can all of you please send me some of our stuff soon?..."
"...it's in our nature to not want to share... to sanction off what belongs to our group.. family ..."
"...Whats the solution look like, nomadic hunting and gathering? :) ..."
In my efforts to advocate the pursuit of a utopian world, I get these responses all the time.
And I understand why, I really do!!!
It's much easier to find arguments and examples that point out that a utopian world cannot exist,
because of the picture the media paints of what humans do to each other on a daily basis.
And of course because the good stuff is kept out of history books/classes.
But if you all think it can't be done, then what is there left for us to believe in?
"...unless of course we evolved into a higher dimensional being...."
I'm sorry but this just doesn't work for me,
and I'm sure it doesn't work for those masses of people that suffer on a daily basis.
It does however work very well for wealthy people like the Sultan of Brunei...
I understand how people can think that it is in our nature to be possesive and egotistical,
but I don't understand why people think we are incapable of rising above that.
Logic deduction dictates that if you truly wish the best for you and your family,
you should strive for what is best for all of us.
Most of us here would be ready in my opinion, we just don't realize it.
Of course it will not be perfect or easy,
but at this point ANYTHING is better than we're we are at right now,
let alone where we will be in 3 years if people prefer to wait for a higher dimensional upgrade from above,
instead of actively pursuing an individual/collective revolution of awareness, compassion and intelligence.
I have a great job, a loving wife, and a great apartment.
But if tomorrow we decide to turn our world upside down I'll be more than willing to give up everything I own
(except my wife, whom I don't really own anyways ;)) for the greater good, or even a chance at the greater good.
What baffles me is the resistance people here have against the ideas of giving utopia a go,
and the lack of resistance they have against, for example, the wealth of the Sultan of Brunei, who 'owns' $22 billion.
22 Billion dollars.
22.000.000.000 dollars.
For one family.
Most of it is cyber money; so it's up to us wheter we allow this or not.
It is possible, it can be done. It HAS been done:
www.youtube.com/watch
We owe it to these people to believe, to dream...
Please watch this if time permits,
it will probably shake the foundation of what you believe is humanity's potential.
Cheers,
Ramon
