Havnt uploaded anything in a while so i thought id put a few moves online. Not doing a spinning video for a while cos ive sent one to noel to put on their DVD so you will have to go buy that if you wanna see some proper spinning (it sounds like its gonna be awsomem loadds of good spinners are contributing).
My favorites are the beetle, the cartwheel roll, and the twister, all a bit sketchy at the moment cos i havnt learned them for long, just wanted to get the ideas out there.

Tue, April 17, 2007 - 4:29 AMThanks guys, good to know people apreciate this shit (even if it is rather sketchy).
Just got back from the British Juggling Convention with a whole load of new ideas, my favorite being what me and meg have called the Bridge matrix, its like the prayer matrix but you keep your hands together over your head as the staff rolls across your hands (minimum beat) so your hands form a bridge over your head. Bad descripion, ill post a video when i get it down.

Re: New inspinerate tutorials
Mon, April 23, 2007 - 1:45 AMthat substitution matrix is sick too, got any tips on the second under arm part? since the planes change to do the halo, the staff is in a sort of downward trajectory, and im having trouble getting it to come back to horizontal to make that second part.... -

Re: New inspinerate tutorials
Mon, April 23, 2007 - 7:19 AMTank,
I kind of walk in a little circle to striaghten it out again.
If you add a frointside halo instead of the backside I think you get chronos's antiwrap,
you do the frontsside SNES part of the matrix and when it comes around you do a chest spinny thing.... -

Re: New inspinerate tutorials
Tue, April 24, 2007 - 4:38 AMYea that will help a bit, i find the hardest bit getting it back onto your back after its done the second arm. To get it back up i kinda rock my body into the staff as its doing the H. halo and quickly rock it back in a small circle (trying to learn matrix proppelors helps) to it back on. Try really throwing your body into the move to start with then calming the motion down as you get used to it.
Sorry noel but thats not chronos anti wrap. For that he does a chest roll (so it rolls sorta horizontal sorta vertical across your chest see the move 'the gaylord') and shifts his body so it pivots in anti spin (viewed from above). If you substitute a f/s halo instead of a b/s halo you get an andre matrix (only one beat in front and behind).
Dave, your just gonna have to wait till you come see me to see any more, the camera has gone back to its owner now so i cant make any more videos till i get another one. I am applying to the film council for funding though so fingers crossed i might get a nice shiny new one.
