Actually, since I see this happening across the board on Tribe, with only a handful of exceptions, I think there's three factors at work here-

1) Tribe is slow as shit this last year, and half the time they're not even functioning properly
2) There's lots to do in this world, and people are spending more time worrying about things like paying for gas to get to work, etc.
3) Other social networking sites, although not nearly as useful as Tribe's message board system, have taken the vast majority of people's "internet time" away from a site that, while VERY useful, is obviously in technological dire straits, has fewer folks interested in it, and isn't giving it's users the treatment to which they had become accustomed.

Add to that the fact that religious fanatics are running the country, have us embroiled in "Vietnam II" in Iraq so their oil profits can continue to be at record highs, and you get considerably lower interest in an internet message board that is providing a lower level of service and quality overall.

Bummer, but hey, that's what seems to be the case.

That said, I've put about 3000 miles on the bike on my days off in the last month, riding solely along the Redwood Highway (US 101 in Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties), and, when the smoke isn't too bad, up into the hills on CA State Hwy 299 where, lately, I've been dodging smoke and fire in Humboldt County's "fire season". Been too busy, as it were, to spend too much time online, let alone waiting for Tribe to function properly, when it's functioning at all.

Still love the place, but feel like a neglected spouse here. ;-)
