How long was Tribe down?

Tribe's back up, but how long was it down for?

    I don't know if the current status qualifies as "up"

    I continually get 403 errors and "connection reset" messages. I can hardly navigate from one place to another inside Tribe when I actually finally get in.

    Sounds like the web services are hosed.

    Hey Darren et al: could someone please give us a heads-up about what the problem is and what is being done, just so we know YOU know there is still a problem?

      Ditto, been pretty much crapped out all weekend, tribe that is, would love to know whats going on, for how long, why etc just for information sake, reduces frustration / irritation

        Things were a little wonky for me this weekend, but since I expect to be randomly dumped off tribe occasionally, it only seemed a little worse than usual. Today it was d_o_w_n.

    I've been having problems since friday night, on and off. the disturbing part is I keep getting "Tribe Beta" error pages as well as the others. Please say that the beta code is NOT being tested on the live server.......

      As Darren stated in a previous thread, the "tribe beta" error message is the OLD one , from when Tribe itself was in beta testing, when I joined up. Sometimes the new error message doesn't go up and this one defaults in.
      I've had to refresh my homepage repeatedly today but Tribe doesn't seem to have been down since 11AM.

    Tribe was fine (all weekend and tonight) until about 6 p.m. - ish. At that point she went down. All fine now.

      It's been working pretty well for me all weekend, too. Just a bit slow a few times. Once I saw the down for maintenance page after being booted off, but when I came back on 10 minutes later all was normal. I didn't try logging on today until about an hour ago.

        I am in Ireland and for me Trive was down all day, from 8h30 AM when I first tried to connect until 4h30 PM when I left the office... it's grand as it doesn't happen often, would just be nice to maybe get an email at times like this to know what's happening and when it will be up again...

          Emails would indicate prior knowledge of "it" going down. I doubt this was the case here.

          I find the frustration with Tribe being offline somewhat humorous, though. These occasions can be used to do things like go outside, get fresh air, clean, shop, sleep, cook, watch Iron Chef, go to a movie, and a multitude of other "real life" ventures.

          Darren's hamsters are running as fast as they can to keep the wheel spinning. Occasionally, they need a rest break, guys.

    Over the past few days a problem cropped up that took me a long time to figure out -- it's something I hadn't seen before. I will be taking the site down at midnight tonight to do a little bit more work on it -- it's still not 100%.

    Hopefully it'll run faster tomorrow morning though -- I am going to delete a lot of database cruft since I also have figured out what will be best to delete.

      OK, historically "connection reset" hasn't been an issue, but since late last week (and maybe b4, but I wasn't on mid-week) it's mostly what happens - along with having to log in again every few minutes, and then it's a bitch to get back on because of --- you guessed it --- "connection reset"

      What's up? Fix - like soon?
