Would anyone be interested in taking Bene Gesserit Belly Dance work shop at next years Gothla? I live and teach in the Bakersfield area so a road trip is no problem for me.

Please educate me - I know what Bene Gesserit is, but what does Bene Gesserit Bellydance involve?

The concept of Bene Gesserit Belly Dance is the expantion and exploration of the physical movements of belly dance as well as the spritual and emotional elements of it. I use the concept of voice for example in music and in the belly meditation. I use the artist who's name is Jim Cole. He uses Tuvin sining techniques to create the most amazing sound experiences. I also use and explore the Prana Bindu and yoga technique to exlpore new ways of doing belly dance movments. The emotion and/or spirt is fused and chaneled through the physical expression.

    Sounds pretty cool to me.

I live in Palmdale, do you ever do workshops or anything just at your own studio? I'd love to come try it out sometime.

That one would most likely have to go through Black Sea Trading Company and I haven't worked with them in a while.

I'll see what I can find out. :) I have your message/number. It may take me a little while (I'm dealing with some health issues at the moment) but I will get to it! Maybe it could be a workshop + hafla. If there's enough high desert interest, it shouldn't be too difficult to pay for the studio space. And it's always fun performing and watching others. I especially love seeing what fusion artists can do.
