Does anyone have or know where to get.... some performance data on solar air heaters? I know it varies some by manufacturer and certainly by panel size... but I am looking for some BTU output...per panel or square foot of panel. Anything that quatifies how much heat it is providing.

Thu, April 17, 2008 - 4:47 PMHard to find because these are not very popular units and they don't have anything similar to, say, an SRCC rating for thermal panels. You may have to rely on the manufacturer's data. Home Power has published a few articles on them.
I have one and think it's great! It doesn't perform as well as I want it to, but I'm going to make some modifications to it that I believe will increase its capacity, such as putting on a second, low wattage fan and repositioning the grill.
